how it all started
In January 2024, we started posting content on TikTok of how we imagined the places from our favorite romantasy books looked like. Suddenly, our videos went viral and we were overwhelmed with the positive response. This small passion project quickly grew beyond anything we could have imagined.
People shared how much they appreciated the visualizations, revealing that they finally felt connected to the worlds they loved but had previously struggled to picture. We also kept seeing another recurring theme in the comments: many people said they would love someone to talk to about the books they were reading. They wanted to connect with others who loved the same stories and dive into meaningful conversations about their favorite books.
That’s when the idea for this platform began to take shape. We wanted to create a space where fantasy book lovers could not only explore beautifully visualized fantasy worlds but also connect with others who share their love for these stories. Whether it’s through conversations, sharing theories, or simply bonding over favorite characters, this is a place for all of us who want to talk, share, and connect with the magic of the books we love.

An entrepreneur with a master’s degree in business, Katja sold her share in a successful start-up and decided to return to her hometown seeking her next opportunity. During that sabbatical, she rediscovered her love for fantasy books.
A financial analyst with a master’s degree in finance, Julia would much rather spend her time exploring fantasy worlds than crunching numbers in the business world. She’s a tech and finance enthusiast with a love for high fantasy.
